I made monkey costumes for my boys this year. My Mom made the same costume for my nephew who is a year younger than my youngest. They were the Three Monkeys Jumping on the Bed. Notice the bumped heads. My boys loved their costumes. For my daughter I made a midieval princess costume. She looked great but the dress turned out a little big. Patterns can be so frustrating. I followed the pattern measurements for the monkey costumes and they just fit. For the dress I did the same thing and it was quite big. Go figure! I should have measured the pattern pieces but I just did not want to take the time. I love the back of my daughters dress. The eyelets and lacing were such a cool touch. My wonderful husband put all of the eyelets in and he did a great job!

Finally, I am going to work on something for myself. Stay tuned...
